Winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, novelist, and professor of the humanities at Boston University, Elie Wiesel has been a tireless human rights advocate for much of his life. His personal experience of the Holocaust informs his work as a teacher, writer, and defender of oppressed people throughout the world. Professor Wiesel will discuss the challenges currently confronting mankind and the ways in which both individuals and the international community can affect the course of history.
