Event Description

Comedian Marc Maron is the host of the popular and influential twice-weekly podcast WTF with Marc Maron, in which he conducts thoughtful, idiosyncratic interviews with fellow comedians, musicians, and actors. Slate described Maron's two hour conversation with fellow comedian Louis C.K. (recorded in 2010) as "one of the best interviews you'll ever hear, providing genuine insight into the mind and career of one of the world's great comics, as well as thoughtful meditations on success, failure, friendship, and fatherhood. In June, President Obama travelled to Maron’s Los Angeles garage for a much-discussed appearance on the podcast.

A veteran of 25 years as a standup comic, Maron has appeared on Letterman, HBO, Comedy Central, and almost every show that features comics. He is the author of Attempting Normal (2014) and The Jerusalem Syndrome: My life As A Reluctant Messiah (2001).
